LocalMatch ("App," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process your information. By using LocalMatch, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide:
- Phone Number: Required for authentication via WhatsApp OTP
- Profile Information: Name, avatar, sports interests, skill levels, preferred locations
- Location Data: Precise coordinates (lat/long) to find nearby games
- Messages: Chat messages between players
- Ratings & Reviews: Feedback about other players
Information Automatically Collected:
- Device Information: Device model, OS version, unique device ID
- Usage Data: Games joined, viewed, created, time spent on App
- Crash Logs: Error reports (processed via Sentry)
- Push Notification Tokens: Used to send game alerts
Information from Third Parties:
- Google Maps API: Location services and place search
- WhatsApp: Phone number verification for OTP authentication
- Sentry: Error tracking and diagnostics

4. How We Share Your Information
Public Information:
Your name, skill level, and ratings are visible when viewing games. Name is visible when you join/host games.
Service Providers:
- Sentry: Crash logs (anonymized where possible)
- Google Maps: Location queries and place search
- Google Cloud: Push notifications and game alerts
- WhatsApp: Phone verification during authentication
Legal Requirements:
We may disclose information if required by law (subpoena, court order) or to protect safety.
5. Data Retention

Account Deletion: You can request complete account deletion anytime in Settings → Delete Account. All personal data is permanently deleted within 7 days.

- Right to Erasure: Request account deletion
- Right to Data Portability: Export data to another service
